Truro Farmers Market – Trader Information
Welcome to Truro Farmers Market! This guide covers everything you need to know when arriving to trade on Lemon Quay (Wednesdays & Saturdays), and for any occasional relocations (e.g. Boscawen Street).
Market Times & Setup

Trading Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Arrival Time: From 7:00 AM

Vehicles Off Site: By 9:00 AM sharp
You must be fully set up and ready to trade by 9:00 AM.
Arrival & Parking

Access: Enter via the bus station end of Lemon Quay (bollards managed by the market team).

Unload directly at your pitch between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM.

Once unloaded, vehicles must be moved off site before 9:00 AM.

Gazebos & Tables

A TFM gazebo is provided and set up for you before you arrive.

3m pitch = 2 tables

4.5m pitch = 3 tables

Extra tables must be pre-booked online or purchased on the day from the Market Supervisor (£5 per table, subject to availability).
Electrics

Small electrics (e.g. card readers, low-wattage lighting) are included for traders with basic needs.

Additional power (16amp or 32amp) must be booked in advance via the monthly electrical ticket on the booking platform.

Traders requiring power must bring:

A suitable extension lead (minimum 20m)

A 16amp blue plug adapter to connect to our distribution boxes

All electrical equipment must be PAT tested and compliant with safety regulations.

Power is limited, and only pre-approved equipment may be plugged in.
Site Plan
A site plan is emailed the day before each market, showing stall locations. Please check it so you know where to go on arrival. Pitches may move week to week due to layout, weather, or trader mix.
Insurance, Safety & First Aid

All traders must have valid public liability insurance.

All Food producers must also have relevant hygiene and registration documents.

Grey water must be taken away with you – not poured on-site.

First aid contact is the Market Supervisor on duty that day.
